Read Drink and Be Bloggy

This is, sadly, the last book in Angela Knight's Megaverse series that is a new spin on the King Arthur myth. Although this series isn't as strong as others in the paranormal romance category it is a series I have read start to (soon to be) finish and is a good way to pass the time. Characters from previous books make appearances in others, which is always nice. I am sad to see this series ending with this book, but that makes me anticipate this last book all the more!

Have to say, although I enjoyed reading this book I didn't feel like it held up as well as the Night Huntress series of books. Our main man, Vlad, read Leila's mind 99% of the time, so there was little dialog. Other than that complaint, I enjoyed curling up on the couch to read this book and I'll be running out to buy the next in the series. Like the Night Huntress books it is obvious the next Night Price book will leave off where this started and keep with the same two main characters: Vlad and Leila. This current book, also like the Night Huntress books, didn't have a nice "everything is wrapped up story wise" ending to leave room for the next book. I'll enjoy reading more about Leila giving Vlad a run for his money by refusing to listen :)

You're most likley to know Jeaniene Frost from her awesome Night Huntress series featuring Cat and Bones. This book is yet another spin off case; this time pulling the character Vlad into the forefront and giving him a woman of his own. I am looking forward to finding out more about Vlad, as I thought his time in the Night Huntress series' books was funny and I enjoy him as a character.

Night Play
by: Sherrilyn Kenyon

Night Play is one of my favorite books in the Dark Hunter series by Sherrilyn Kenyon.The book tells the love story between Bride McTierney (a human) and Vane Kattalakis (Sherrilyn Kenyon's version of a were wolf).  I really liked the fact that Bride is described as being a size 18 bombshell. Yeah, you read correct: a size 18!  And, that her hero, Vane, loved that about her.  Their story is scrumptious; it includes a mating bond, just desserts on an ex-boyfriend, and even some time travel!  It's an easy, nice read and a great addition to the Dark Hunter series.  This is one book I read over and over again because I genuinely enjoy the story and characters.
